Finally a date night.....yea!!!

So a friend called Scott to go for a motorcycle ride. Being the good wife that I am of course I said I want to go. We have a sitter come twice a week so I can go to the studio and get work done. This day we just had her stay really late so we could go play. It was so nice to go riding again. We never get to go on the motorcycle cause kids are usually with us. Anyways, I suggested we go to the covered bridge so I can get pictures. It was such a nice ride. The best part was spending time alone with my BOY!

I like this picture because of the little boy's head in the opening on the bridge.

After this place we went to eat. Our friend left and went home and we found a very nice restaurant down a dirt road. It's the country and that is where you find the nice restaurants. Weird, I know, but some of these places are built up on peoples property and they happen to be down dirt roads. anyways it was a 35 min wait so I took pictures here too. the funny part is they didn't accept credit or debt cards. We didn't have checks and only$4 on us. so we told them we didnt have any money. We would come back another day. They said don't do that, stay and eat,you can mail us a check. I love the kindness down here. We found an atm and got some cash.

THese pictures are not fixed up so the colors are a little dim. scott with the dog will be black and white. And the other one I think all of it b/w but the chair in color.
The restaunt is to the right. Of course I didn't get pictures of that. I just got pictures of bits and pieces of the outside.
P.s. They own 25 dogs. Crazy!!!
THey enjoyed the pictures I took and asked me to come back and display them.

Kaydee turned 1

My baby girl turned one. where did the time go? I quit my job so I could stay at home and watch her grow up...but I feel like I missed it. It happedned so fast. Good thing I take alot of pictures.
Just a few weeks old4 months maybe 4 and a half old6 months old8 and a half (i think)10 months 11 and a half

@ the party. A friend that came has the name victoria, so she gives victoria secret bags. very funny. If only you heard the jokes being tossed around.
Her birthday outfit. SO CUTE!!!!Can't live in the south until you eat red velvet cake. Southern style. Down here all cakes of any specialty are made out of pound cake. SOOOOO good. My friend made this for me, I am not a pound cake maker. Kaydee loved it.
We had alot of families come and enjoy this special day with us. All the kids went swimming and all the adults fought over who gets to hold Kaydee.
Kaydee is such a sweet baby girl. She can sign 4 words and crawls everywhere. She pulls up on the funiture and finds her way into everything. She listnes very well when mom say no, but likes to go back and make sure mom meant it. She adores her brother, When she is awake and he is sleeping she will pound on his door to wake him up. She loves to wrestle with daddy and brother. She is a tuff little girl. (after my own heart)
She brings us so much joy. We are so blessed to have her in our family.
WE love you GOOBIE !

So this is our son rocking out. sorry it's side ways, on my camera its correct but it uploaded this way and I'm not sure how to turn it,

Scott loves Guitar hero and Thayne loves to play along. It was just to cute not to video it. Of course Thayne is hamming it up because mom has the camera, but it's so cute.

Kaydee got her ears peirced

My sweet little baby doll now has grown up. we got her ears peirced. Soon she will be pulling an attitude and hanging out late with her friends. where did the time go?
O.K. so I have wanted to do this for a while but was scared to. I have heard wonderful things about doing it while they are babies, But growing up having yours ears peirced was a right of passage. along with the tenderness, the infections, and the PAIN. We were in Tallahassee and Scott suggested it. "hey lets go to claires and get her ears peirced." O.K. was my reply. So we did it and she has not had any infection, redness, tenderness. nothing. I'm SOSOSO jealous. She doesn't even pull at them. She gets mad at me when I put the atiseptic on only cuz it's cold! So this was her birthday gift. She only cried for a short moment than we gave her a sparkly braclet and she was happy again. Such a girl!
P.S. her birthday is the 29 so it's an early gift.

And again I'm getting pictures of my kids. Thayne said he was a turtle.
I'm testing out the lighting on the a new paper backdrop.

So not a lot of new things happing. I found out this morning I have a new nephew. Yea!!! Amy had her baby.
we have been swimming alot this year, and having lots of gatherings. For kaydees' bithday we are have a huge gathering. A huge swim party. That's about it.
Oh yea, i forgot to tell you'll about www.e-mealz.com
So my mom is the type of person that can go in anyone's kitchen and make two months worth of meals just out of what is in their cuboards with out a recipe. she is just awsome like that. That skill jumped over me. I can not cook unless there is a plan. And I hate to plan out meals. so this program does it for me. It makes the list and tells me how much it will be and gives me 7 days of meals. The people that put this together know that people like me need their help. Anyways for 7 meals my grocery list is $75. not bad. the meals are really good and easy to make. (see they knew I needed their help)
So i pay $12 for a 3 month list. i'm saving a ton of money. also they offer meals for those who are on weight watchers and doing points, they offer low sodium meal plans...vaction meal plans...the list goes on. They offer the price list for wal-mart or any store of your choosing and the meals last us two to three more meals. That's for three of us eating. I just wanted to bring this to your attention as a friend brought it to mine. Thanks Kelly!

Father's Day

This was Scott's gift. It was so much fun having the kids do this. they loved it. It is on a foam core board so I don't have to frame it. Anyways I had Thayne give it to dad and he was so excited to give it to scott. They have such a great daddy. He comes home everyday so tired from all the flying and the HOT weather, but always takes time to play with the kids. Kaydee gets SO excited when Daddy walks in. She reaches out her little hand, stretching it as far as it will go and starts saying DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA!!!!!! Thayne then also runs and gives Scott hugs. I know it makes him so happy when the kids are so excited to see him. He always takes Thayne on little special outings (to the store or for ice cream) and they have their "man talk." I love how he treats the kids and teaches them. It is so sweet. He is such a great Daddy. The pictures below were just to darn cute not to share. My wall is going to covered in pictures with Kaydee. She is just so DANG CUTE!!!!! I need to get more of THayne so he is not left out.

Being a Mom I have to brag on my boy...but seriously look at him swim. This is only after 4 days of swimming class. He is the only one in his class that can swim. The other ones are still working on hoding their breathes. And he is better than most the other age groups. He is going to be the next Michael Phelps. Tomarrow they want to see if he can swimm the whole pool. Today he swam 3/4 of it.

Thayne can swim!!!

THAYNE CAN SWIM!!!!!! We have trying to teach him for so long. we knew he could do it but he would freak out every time we took off his life jacket and try to teach him. I shouldn't say freak out cause he loves water, but he would be VERY whinny and not want to try our tactics. So Scott and I decided to put him in swimming lessons. He was only in it for one day, one hour. He was the best little 3 yead old swimmer. He knew how to hold his breathe and move his legs and arms to swim. He was such a little show off. But the one day in class gave him the confidence he needed to swim. I am so proud of him. Now we just need to teach him how to hold his head up.

I tried to upload a video of him jumping in and grabbing the dive rings but it was taking to long to upload. Anyways that too I knew he could do but he wouldn't. Until after the class he gave it a try and now that's all he does. With me standing right next to him the whole time.

So now he has a week and half left of swim lessons....I wonder what he will do next.
