Tea Party

Be shocked everyone....I threw a tea party. Yes, me. Crazy I know. But I had the cutest vision in my head of all these cute little girls playing dress up and getting picturs of it. I wanted to do something fun for the young mothers in our church. (I got the idea from Tera). Anyways, I would love to say it was a success....but one friends came to the party. We had fun anyways. And I will do this again, because that vision of girls playing dress up and getting it on camera is to cute to pass up.
my friend that came and her daughter.

I had to be in a picture with my baby!

fluff dry!

One of my friends put her kid in the dryer...so I thought let's get thayne in there. It took a lot of coaxing...but I got him in there. And he liked it. No i didn't turn it on. He wouldn't let me shut the door.

Kaydee is mad that she can't get thru the cat door.

yea!! i can do her hair in pig tails.

Uncle David came to visit before he gets shipped out to Afganastan. It was so much fun. we always love it when he visits...he gets the kids all wild and crazy and then leaves for us to calm them down...Yes, we love you David. Thayne said his name is not David...it's UNCLE DAVID. He made the correction many times to us.

Brothers

We made a train!

We went camping while David was here. Our neighbors kittens came to visit and Thayne decided they were his and he kept them captive in the tent.

Camping in our pasture. THe house not to far away.
we loved David visiting and can't wait for a year to pass so we can see him again.

Happy Face

So I got a little bored. Who doesn't? I got creative....and Thayne thought it was a cool idea. Everyone at church laughed and it comes in habdy when Thayne gets whinney. We turn him around so we can see the smiley face. "no one likes a frowney face....change it for a smile..." we did that too in primary.

We like to feed the horses in our back yard. They are our neighbors' but they mow our pasture for us. Kaydee is O.K. touching them as long as I hold her. But if she is left alone in the wagon with me next to her she is not happy. Thayne loves to feed the horses carrots. I wore this dress when I was two. My Mom saved it all these years. Kaydee fits in it with room to grow. I tried adding the pictures of me in the dress but they are to faded and are a photocopy my mom gave me. Believe me when I say she is a mini me.
She is so cute!!! esp since she is a mini me. (lol)

Wild Adventures

There is no better way to experience an amusment park than when it's your child's First time. It's funny that I have been waiting for this moment since Thanye was born and it was so much fun. Scott had to work so he couldn't come, he was bummed. A friend and her daughter came and we all had fun. My friend would rather sit out the rides and watch Kaydee. Her daughter helped me trade off on the rides with Thayne. So it really worked out for us all. Mostly me. Kaydee was so good being locked up in the stroller all day and Thanye did better than I thought with out a nap. I love this place because it really is family oriented. Where there is a big ride for the big kids two or three little rides are in the same area for the little kids. So Moms can watch all thier babies. And Dads can play.

We went on Labor day because it was can food drive and prices were half off. And I had a gut feeling it would not be crowded. It wasn't. This is the frog hop. It bounces as it goes down. Thayne got the biggest kick out of this ride. He laughed.

I love how all the kids are leaning against the fence waiting for there turn.

On his first REAL roller coaster. he called it a train. It went up a pretty good size hill and droped down. His face is not nervous just tired of smiling for the camera.

This is Sarah the daughter that came with us. she was such a big help.

We saw all kinds of animals. But this one we thought G-ma Tennant would enjoy. We missed the show but got to see the trainer and ask some questions.

C'mon you know this is a great shot.Kaydee's first ride. of course she loved it.

They had a huge water park. Thayne was a little nervous to go down some of the water slides. I couldn't ride with him so a pushed him down it. After prying his fingers off the bar. But he loved it and wanted to go on them some more. I'm a mother that knows he will love it and instead of trying to coax him down it (yea right the slide is scary like he's going to do it on his own) I push him down. If he cried and hated it than he wouldn't do it again but I knew he would love it. Plus the water was going slow, wasn't a fast slide.

Gee, I wonder why he rode this one????

Didn't take long!!

Kaydee got a monkey. She walks like one so a pink monkey was perfect.

And Thayne got in for free....because he passed for 2. So since it was his money he was going to have to use to get into the park. Since he was free I let him buy this snake. He loved it. It was so much fun, But the best part is the HUGE grin on his face when he talks about the trains and the water slides.

Cassie

This is my babysitter. She is so much fun and the kids love her. She was so up for this photoshoot. And I was so excited to do it. These pictures turned out so good. I had to share them with you all. She is wearing a $200 dress. and she didn't care about getting it wet in the clorine fountains. Glad she could do it.

Kaydee and the pool

This is our brave little doll. She can hold her breathe. She will touch the bottom and come all the way back up. (with our help). She is learning to swim but not even close to that yet. Don't worry mom and dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Scott and I never leave her alone.

But since we taught her how much fun it is to be free from the floaties and play in the water, she does not like being in the baby floaties. DARN!!!!

1, 2, 3, 4, I declare a PEN WAR!!!!

If you look really close you can see the pen marks. Scott was drawing during church and I went to nudge his arm to mess him up. Well he didn't like that so he attacked me with the pen. So I did it again, this time really hard!

So again he drew on my arm. we sit in the front row so I didn't want to pull away and draw attention to us so I did sit there and let him do the drawing. It says MOM.

So after that I secretly grabbed my pen in my scriptures and attacked the heck out of his neck. HA! got him good. Yes we had a boring speaker. I think it was high counsel Sunday.

Family Home Evening we made cookies. well they made cookies and I documented. They are pounding gram crackers for the cookie receipe. Look at Thayne's face he feels like such a big boy.

Kaydee go her hair cut. Just the tinest cut. Just enough for her to see. the hair was in her eyes so bad. And yes I saved it.

This is for G-ma and G-pa Tennant. I was playing with the doll and she copied me. Oh so cute.

We went to the beach and Scott found this tiny crab crawling in the sand. Looked like a spider. If it looked like a spider why would you grab it?

Kaydee has Boobies!!!
